Dumpster Intervention

Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear! We have always considered dumpsters with the utmost respect but artist Christine Finley, featured today in the Home Section of the New York Times, has taken things to a whole new level.

Our artist in residence, Kristy Knight, seen below, used local dumpsters in Athens Georgia to find materials for site specific artworks for our LEED Gold project - the Hotel Indigo.

Come to think of it the dumpster interest has a long history in our firm - below is the trash heap at the HC&G Hamptons Eco-luxury show house that KK mined to create her masterpiece reclaimed dining table for the eat-in kitchen (also pictured)

When this candid yearbook shot was snapped in high school who knew it would prove to be so prescient?
